Banana Nice Cream

This is a super simple, super creamy banana nice cream recipe that takes a couple of minutes to whip up. 

It consists of just two main ingredients, bananas and coconut cream. You can then add just about anything else. We have added cinnamon and vanilla, but the flavour combos are endless. Some of our favourite combinations are: 

  • Adding one tablespoon of cacao powder and one tsp of vanilla
  • Adding one tablespoon of cacao powder and one tablespoon of nut butter
  • 1/4 cup frozen berries and one tsp of vanilla
  • Adding in 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp vanilla

Though this is supposed to be a healthy and nourishing alternative to ice cream, you can really have it at any time of the day. On the weekends, it is great served alongside our plate sized pancakes (get the recipe here)! 

 

Easy Banana Nice Cream | MOD Appliances

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, chopped and frozen

  • 4 ice cubes of frozen coconut cream

  • 1/4 C coconut cream (non frozen)

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence or 1 vanilla bean pod

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • Whatever toppings you desire (chocolate chips, berries, drizzle of nut butter, sliced banana, granola etc)

Directions

  1. Simply place all ingredients into your MOD Blend Pro and blend until well combined.  You will need to use the tamper to help the ingredients combine. 

  2. Once thick, smooth and creamy. Scoop into a ramekin and top with whatever toppings you desire. 

    Serve immediately.
