With Queen's Birthday long weekends approaching, we thought we would "MOD-ify" an absolutely classic British drink.
We love to know exactly what's going in our bodies, so instead of using store-bought lemonade we are going to use our MOD Cold Press Juicer to juice lemons and make lemonade from scratch.
This classic cocktail will quench your thirst and impress your guests!
Let us know if you try it!

Directions
To make homemade lemonade:
Combine the filtered water and honey into a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir regularly and cook until the honey is dissolved. Transfer out of the saucepan and allow to cool completely.
While the honey water is cooling, set up your MOD Cold Press Juicer for juicing (refer to the Juicing Handbook for more information). Juice enough lemons until you have 1 cup of cold pressed lemon juice.
Depending on the size and juiciness of your lemons you may need somewhere between 6-8 lemons.
Tip: Before cutting the lemon, press down and roll your lemon across the bench to help free more the juice from the flesh.
Pour lemon juice into a large glass bottle, followed by the cooled honey water. Finally, add in the soda water. Stir to combine.
To make Pimms:
To a large pitcher, add in the pimms, homemade lemonade, herbs, sliced fruit and ice.
Stir everything together and allow to sit for 5 - 10 minutes for the fruit to infuse into the liquid.
Divide between four glasses, ensuring each glass gets some fruit, herbs and ice.
Enjoy!
Recipe Note
If you want to add a little twist and extra sweetness, try juicing half a glass of strawberries and pouring that into your Pimms jug!
Happy Juicing,
Team MOD
